Application Guide

Preparation: Thassos marble is highly sensitive. Ensure the stone is 100% dry and free of any dust. Even a small amount of moisture can affect the color of the cured resin.

Mixing: Use a clean, non-porous mixing board. Mix the white paste with the catalyst thoroughly. Note: Use only the recommended amount of catalyst to prevent “pinking” or discoloration.

Application: Press the mastic firmly into the joint or crack. For the best results on Thassos, keep the joint as tight as possible.

Refinement: Once hard (approx. 30 minutes), grind the surface using fine diamonds and polish. The mastic will take on the same reflective quality as the surrounding marble.
